Hanoi to set off fireworks at 5 locations on National Day September 2

(NLDO) - Hanoi will organize fireworks displays at 5 locations on the evening of September 2 at Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium and West Lake.

Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh has just signed and issued a plan to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Accordingly, Hanoi will organize fireworks displays at 5 locations on the evening of September 2, 2025 at Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium and West Lake in the form of traditional and artistic fireworks.

Hanoi will coordinate with the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences to organize a national scientific conference to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to design a logo and identity; coordinate to organize an exhibition of socio -economic achievements. Hanoi will coordinate with the Central Propaganda and Education Commission and Vietnam Television to organize a live television broadcast.

Hanoi also organizes revolutionary history education activities at schools and relics in the city, promoting the country and people of Vietnam, the heroic and civilized capital to students; visiting and giving gifts to people with meritorious services...

The Hanoi People's Committee also issued a decision on the establishment of the Organizing Committee for the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.
