On the afternoon of November 19, Associate Professor, Dr. Luu Van Quyet, Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) Ho Chi Minh City, presented VND140 million to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. The money is to promptly share difficulties, contribute to overcoming damage and support teachers in areas affected by natural disasters.

Associate Professor Dr. Luu Van Quyet said that instead of organizing large-scale activities to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day, the School decided to transfer all funds to support teachers and people who are heavily affected by storms and floods.
In the congratulatory letter sent to the staff, lecturers and civil servants of the whole University, Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Phuong Lan - Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities emphasized that the spirit of respecting teachers is a sustainable value in the national culture, and at the same time a particularly meaningful beauty for the humanistic environment. Instead of the annual brilliant ceremony, the University chose practical and timely actions - in line with the core values of "Creativity - Leadership - Responsibility".
