On April 23, the Hanoi People's Committee issued a plan to organize fireworks to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
According to the plan, there will be 6 locations with 7 high-altitude fireworks displays combined with low-altitude fireworks displays, specifically: Location No. 1 in Hoan Kiem District (in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper headquarters); Location No. 2 in Hoan Kiem District (in front of the Hanoi Post Office ); Location No. 3 in Tay Ho District (at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, in front of Tay Ho District People's Committee).
Battlefield No. 4 in Nam Tu Liem District (at the F1 racetrack, Phu Do Ward); Battlefield No. 5 in Hai Ba Trung District (Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Le Dai Hanh Ward); Battlefield No. 6 in Ha Dong District (Van Quan Lake, Van Quan Ward); Battlefield No. 7 in Son Tay Town (Son Tay Ancient Citadel).
It is expected that Hanoi will use 4,200 high-altitude fireworks (7 sites, each with 600 fireworks) and 630 low-altitude fireworks (each site with 90 fireworks) from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on October 10, 2024.
The Hanoi People's Committee requested units to closely coordinate with forces, seriously and specifically implement the plan, organize fireworks displays according to the prescribed program and time; ensure security, order and traffic safety at fireworks display locations in the city.
At the same time, prepare carefully in all aspects, command closely, ensure absolute safety of people and equipment before, during and after fireworks display.
