In order to improve the quality of online public services, Hanoi plans to apply chatbots, AI virtual assistants to automatically answer questions for citizens.
Hanoi has just issued a plan to inform and promote online public services in conjunction with the implementation of Project 06 of the Government in 2025.
The goal is to raise awareness and form the habit of using online public services among officials, civil servants and people, gradually replacing traditional methods, contributing to promoting digital transformation.
This activity also helps increase transparency, build trust among businesses and people, as well as improve the quality of online public services based on real feedback, ensuring easy access and friendliness for all subjects.
Accordingly, the Hanoi People's Committee requested the host unit, the City Public Administration Service Center, to coordinate with the Department of Information and Communications and local departments, branches and sectors to develop specific evaluation indicators such as: the rate of online application submission, people's satisfaction level, the number of people receiving instructions on how to use the service to increase the measurement of implementation effectiveness.
Information and propaganda about online public services must be grouped into appropriate groups to have appropriate approaches such as the elderly, people with limited access to technology, people in urban and rural areas, etc., while mobilizing the participation of many parties.
At the same time, the Hanoi People's Committee requested units in the capital to make the most of digital technology, apply artificial intelligence (AI), automatic support chatbots, livestream instructions, short videos on TikTok, Facebook, Zalo to increase the effectiveness of communication about online public services.
Specifically, departments, branches, sectors and localities in Hanoi will post instructional videos, infographics, and articles introducing online public services on digital media channels and social networks such as Facebook, Zalo, YouTube, and TikTok.
People will also be supported in using public services through chatbot applications, virtual assistants on Zalo OA page, iHanoi application and the City's Public Service Portal.
