Speaking here, Comrade Mai Son sent his congratulations to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the Venerables, monks, nuns, and Buddhists, and acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive contributions of Vietnamese Buddhism in general and Buddhism in Bac Giang province in particular in the past time. In Bac Giang, monks, nuns, and Buddhists have had many practical activities contributing to socio-economic development, consolidating the great national unity bloc, building a rich and beautiful homeland; actively participating in patriotic emulation movements, building cultural life, and implementing well the policies of the Party and State.

Phuc Son Pagoda, also known as Phuc Son Co Tu or Ngo Xa Pagoda, is located on Phuong Hoang Mountain, Cao Xa Commune. The pagoda was built during the Le Trung Hung period (16th century), and is a place for religious and spiritual activities of the people of the ancient Kinh Bac region. During the resistance war, the pagoda was used as a place to discuss guerrilla plans, as a medical station, and as a temporary shelter for our army and people.
