Hanoi seeks opinions on horse racing track planning in Soc Son

The People's Committee of Soc Son district has just announced the collection of opinions from relevant agencies, organizations, individuals and communities on the detailed planning of the multi-purpose entertainment complex - horse racing track, scale 1/500.

The subjects of consultation are agencies, organizations and individuals in Soc Son district; especially people of Tan Minh, Phu Linh communes and Soc Son town.

Comment period from December 26, 2023 to February 4, 2024.

Based on the comments, the People's Committee of Soc Son district and the planning organization, H&G Company Limited, will synthesize, analyze, and select content to supplement or adjust the project, to ensure it is suitable for local reality and meet the general development requirements of the region and city.

In June 2020, the Hanoi People's Committee announced the conclusion of the city's leadership at a meeting on planning a multi-purpose entertainment complex - horse racing track in Phu Linh and Tan Minh communes, Soc Son district.

In which, Hanoi leaders agreed to allow parallel establishment of zoning plans and detailed construction plans assigned to implement the project according to regulations.

The Department of Planning and Investment has granted an Investment Registration Certificate to the project investor, H&G Company Limited. The scale is 125 hectares in Tan Minh and Phu Linh communes (Soc Son district), with a total investment capital of VND9,576 billion, equivalent to USD420 million. The project has a duration of 50 years.

In July 2023, the City People's Committee approved the task of the Soc Son Urban Sub-Zone 3 Planning, scale 1/2,000. Up to now, the Soc Son District People's Committee is organizing the preparation of this planning project and collecting opinions according to regulations.

According to the general planning orientation, the main nature and functions of this subdivision planning area include: Concentrated university and college cluster; city-level sports and entertainment center (horse racing track); existing village renovation area, development of ecological projects, community services, high-quality housing...
