Hanoi offers free drinks, cakes, and buses to people attending A80

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a plan to serve people and tourists attending activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (A80), including arranging free bus routes, providing drinking water, cakes, dry food, and shelter from the rain and sun for people, especially the elderly, from localities returning to the capital.

Since noon on August 21, many people have gathered in Ba Dinh Square to watch the A80 parade and marching force practice.

Under the direction of Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh, departments, branches and localities must proactively develop plans for all situations, ensuring attentive service for joint training, preliminary rehearsal, general rehearsal and official celebration, parade and march activities.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan, Head of the Traffic and Security Subcommittee, was assigned to develop a plan to divide and regulate traffic, ensuring security and order at crowded gathering places and areas where LED screens are placed to serve the people. Police and youth volunteers will be deployed at gathering points, grandstands, and parade streets.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen, Head of Logistics Subcommittee, directed the provision of necessities and free services to people and tourists. This is also an opportunity for the capital to spread the image of "City for Peace ", friendly and hospitable.

The People's Committees of wards and communes are assigned to propagate and mobilize people to promote cultural beauty, support tourists, and create a good impression of elegant and civilized Hanoi.

The joint training, preliminary rehearsal and final rehearsal activities will take place on August 21, 24 and 30, 2025, respectively, before the A80 Anniversary Ceremony, Parade and March officially takes place at 6:30 a.m. on September 2 in Hanoi.
