Hanoi: Shorten processing time for key and urgent power source projects

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan has just signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 1191/UBND-KT directing departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns, and Hanoi Electricity Corporation to identify ensuring electricity supply as a key task.

Units regularly review progress, proactively advise on timely solutions to resolve issues and problems to ensure stable, safe and reliable power supply for the city; strengthen state management, inspection and supervision of power system operation, ensure the principles of transparency, fairness, for the common good, and minimize impacts on business production and business and people's lives.

Departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities shall streamline and shorten the processing time for groups of dossiers and procedures related to investment projects in the construction of power sources and key and urgent power grids of 500kV, 220kV, 110kV, ensuring stable power supply, serving all socio-economic development activities to achieve the target of GRDP growth of over 8% in 2025 and double digits in the period 2026-2030.

The city requires heads of departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns, agencies, units, and socio-political organizations of the city to seriously disseminate to all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers, raise awareness and take the lead in saving electricity; reduce electricity usage at offices and units.

Hanoi Electricity Corporation focuses resources on accelerating the progress of key power supply projects in the city; approves the power supply plan for 2025; and is responsible for operating the power system to ensure absolute safety in all situations.
