Hanoi: Handling 189 cases of alcohol concentration violations

On the evening of November 5, Hanoi Traffic Police handled 189 cases of alcohol concentration violations.

Following the direction of the Head of the Traffic Police Department (Hanoi City Police), the Traffic Police force of the entire Hanoi city simultaneously launched a large-scale alcohol concentration test on the evening of November 5.

Accordingly, on the evening of November 5, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department simultaneously deployed forces, coordinated with the Commune Police and other forces to organize closed patrols and controls in the area; synchronously used professional measures and technical means to detect and strictly handle violations of alcohol concentration, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations of the law.

The city's Traffic Police force inspected 6,275 vehicles and handled 189 cases of alcohol concentration violations (184 motorbikes, 1 car, and 4 other vehicles).

The Traffic Police Department will continue to deploy forces to conduct closed inspections of routes and areas, focusing on noon and evening hours, closely coordinating with local police and functional forces to strictly handle violations, not allowing violators to resist or evade inspection.
