Hue City Police set up a robbery scene

The two arrested subjects are Nguyen Thanh Tung (born in 1995, residing in Phu Thuong ward, Hue city) and Nguyen Thi Loan (born in 1985, residing in Phu Hau ward), Hue city.

According to the initial investigation, on November 21, 2024, Tung and Loan drove a motorbike on the road to find people who were not paying attention to rob them. When they arrived in front of house number 37 Nguyen Phuc Chu (Huong Long ward, Hue city), they discovered a person holding a phone (Iphone 11 Pro Max) in his hand. Nguyen Thanh Tung quickly went to grab the phone and ran away. After snatching the property, the two subjects pawned it for 4.5 million VND and then divided it among themselves.

It is known that Nguyen Thanh Tung, although only 29 years old, has 3 previous convictions for theft, robbery and illegal possession of drugs. He just finished serving his prison sentence in February 2024 and then continued to commit crimes.
