Hai Duong has attracted 14 doctors after issuing a resolution to attract medical human resources.

According to the Hai Duong Department of Health, after Resolution No. 39/2024/HDND dated December 11, 2024 stipulating policies to support training, attract and treat medical human resources at public agencies and units under the management of the province for the period 2025 - 2030 took effect, the provincial health sector has so far attracted 14 medical doctors. Of which, 13 doctors work at district-level health centers and 1 doctor works at commune health stations.

In addition, in the first quarter of 2025, the Department of Health has allocated the state budget to implement the monthly incentive policy for doctors working at commune, ward and town health stations with a total budget of more than 4 billion VND. Regarding the training support policy, the Department of Health is conducting appraisal, review and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Resolution No. 39/2024/HDND of Hai Duong province specifically stipulates policies to support, attract and reward human resources in the health sector. The province will support updating medical knowledge, undergraduate and postgraduate training from 70 - 100% of the cost. For those receiving postgraduate degrees, they will be supported with one-time research and study costs from 30 - 100 million VND/person/course.

The province will support from 150 to 500 million VND/doctor working at public agencies and units under the province's management. At the same time, implement a preferential treatment regime for doctors working at health stations with a monthly support level of 20% of the current salary for doctors working at commune health stations and 15% of the salary when working at ward and town health stations.
