A landfill in Gia Tien commune (Gia Loc) is full of trash.

These are Toan Thang, Gia Tien, Gia Phuc, Quang Duc communes (Gia Loc) and 2 villages Minh Tien, Quang Binh, Dong Cam commune (Kim Thanh).

The support funding is implemented from the collection point to the inorganic waste treatment and disposal plant after classification. The total funding proposed by localities is over 1,634 billion VND, of which Gia Loc district is over 1.5 billion VND, the rest is from Dong Cam commune. The support period is from July 1 to December 31, 2025. The total waste volume of these units is about 2,546 tons/6 months.

Currently, Toan Thang, Gia Tien, Gia Phuc, Quang Duc communes generate about 26 tons of garbage per day (it is proposed to transport and treat 13 tons per day), while landfills are basically full or no location can be found to plan a new landfill. Gia Loc district currently has Gia Loc town and Pham Tran and Yet Kieu communes where garbage is transported to be treated at the waste treatment plant.

Kim Thanh district currently has 14/14 communes and towns (except Minh Tien and Quang Binh villages, Dong Cam commune) collecting and transporting domestic waste to the waste treatment plant of APT - Seraphin Hai Duong Environmental Joint Stock Company. The two villages that have not yet treated waste have nearly 4,000 people, generating 2.3 tons of waste per day (it is proposed to transport 1.5 tons/day). Currently, the waste dump in Quang Binh village is basically full, causing difficulties in collection and treatment.
