However, compared to the requirements, the project is still behind schedule and speeding up the construction progress of Trang Due 3 Industrial Park is one of the urgent requirements.

Trang Due 3 Industrial Park has an area of ​​687 hectares located in the communes of Truong Tho, Truong Thanh, An Tien, Bat Trang (An Lao district). This area is planned to include functional subdivisions such as industrial production land, warehouses, yards, service land; parking lots; traffic land; trees, technical infrastructure, etc.

The goal is to build a multi-industry industrial park with high technology and modernity, ensuring sustainable development. The total investment capital for the construction of Trang Due 3 Industrial Park is about more than 8,000 billion VND.

In the past time, with the support and facilitation of the city, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, An Lao district, and the high determination of the investor, Trang Due 3 Industrial Park has implemented work related to planning, site clearance, etc. Most recently, in November 2023, the City People's Committee approved the adjusted master plan at a scale of 1/2000 of Trang Due 3 Industrial Park. This is an important basis for implementing the next steps of the project. At the same time, a part of the area has completed site clearance procedures.

The leader of An Lao district affirmed: Since the Prime Minister 's Decision to adjust the boundary of Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone, allowing the development of the Industrial Park towards 4 communes of An Lao district with a scale of 687 hectares in Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone. This is an important basis for Hai Phong to strongly attract investment capital in the coming time.

Land acquisition and clearance for Trang Due Industrial Park Phase 3 is identified as the top priority task of the locality in this term. Therefore, the District Party Committee and People's Committee are focusing all leadership and direction with the determination to hand over the site to the investor on schedule. The leaders of An Lao district emphasized that with the successful implementation of Trang Due Industrial Park Phase 3, An Lao district will develop strongly and make a breakthrough, the economy will grow rapidly, and the people's lives and jobs will be increasingly better guaranteed.

Among them, the typical enterprise of Trang Due Industrial Park is LG Group, which has invested 8.24 billion USD in Hai Phong; the accumulated export turnover reached 50.6 billion USD; the growth rate is 72%/year, an average increase of 1.71 billion USD per year. LG's export proportion always accounts for about 43% of the city's export turnover.

Up to now, LG has contributed 530 million USD to the city budget. Enterprises in Trang Due Industrial Park have created jobs for more than 55,000 local workers with a stable income of 10,000,000 VND/person/month, contributing to positive changes in the local economy and society.

Mr. Duong added: After the success of phase 1 and 2 of the project, many investors such as: Heesung Electronics Vietnam Company; Haengsung Company; Kr EMS Vietnam Company, SL Electronics Company Limited; Inabata Vietnam Company; Kaidi Company; Sankyo Company... all expressed their desire to continue expanding their investment projects in Hai Phong. Especially in Trang Due Industrial Park phase 3. The excellent results in attracting investment of Trang Due Industrial Park have effectively contributed to making Hai Phong city one of the leading localities in the country in attracting FDI capital today.
