Hai Phong organized 11 televised events for the groundbreaking and inauguration of major construction projects.

Hai Duong Nam Station will be the starting point for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line construction investment project in Hai Phong city.

On December 19th, numerous major projects were launched and inaugurated nationwide to commemorate the 79th anniversary of the National Resistance Day (December 19, 1946 - December 19, 2025) and to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party. The Central Committee organized 79 live and online television broadcasts on Vietnam Television. Hai Phong City was selected to host two broadcast points.

Point 1 is the inauguration ceremony for several projects under the Social Housing Project within the Trang Due Urban-Commercial and Workers' Housing Area Project in An Duong Ward. The project covers an area of 31,369 ^m² , comprising 2,538 social housing units across 10 buildings. The total investment is 1,600 billion VND.

Point 2 of the event was the groundbreaking ceremony for three multi-level intersection construction projects: Le Hong Phong - Nguyen Trai, Bui Vien - Le Hong Phong, and Bui Vien - Vo Nguyen Giap, held in An Bien ward, Le Chan district. The three intersections have a total investment of 2,335 billion VND, including over 852 billion VND for the Le Hong Phong - Nguyen Trai intersection; over 707 billion VND for the Bui Vien - Le Hong Phong intersection; and over 775 billion VND for the Bui Vien - Vo Nguyen Giap intersection.

The People's Committee of Hai Phong City has unanimously selected 13 projects and works in the city to be started and inaugurated, with 11 connection points for the event.

Besides the two connection points with the central government, the remaining nine connection points are located at various construction sites and projects:

Commencement of the infrastructure investment project connecting stations on the line and station square (Component Project 1: Investment in infrastructure connecting stations on the line and station square under the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong Railway Construction Investment Project). Location: Entrance area to Nam Hai Duong station in Yet Kieu and Gia Loc communes.

Commencement of the mixed-use construction project at Lot 1.14/CTHH-01 (Component Project No. 01: Investment in the construction of a 41-story commercial and service building and apartment complex). Location: North of Cấm River New Urban Area, Thủy Nguyên Ward.

Construction has commenced on the investment project for the construction and operation of infrastructure in the Luong Dien - Ngoc Lien Industrial Park in Cam Giang commune.

Construction has begun on the An Thọ industrial cluster in An Hưng commune.

Construction has begun on the An Phụ industrial cluster in Trần Liễu and Kinh Môn wards.

Construction has begun on the Dung Tien - Giang Bien industrial cluster in Vinh Thuan commune.

Construction has commenced on a housing project at alley 226 Le Lai Street, Ngo Quyen Ward.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction project of new buildings for emergency services, technical and paraclinical services; technical, paraclinical and inpatient services; examination, administration, technical and inpatient services, Hai Duong General Hospital in Le Thanh Nghi ward has taken place.

Construction has commenced on a project to build a logistics service center, oil and cargo port, oil depot, and commercial service area covering 37.17 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 1,989 billion VND, in Nguyen Dai Nang ward.

The central hub of the event was located at the venue for the inauguration of several facilities and the launch of the first flight of the Long Thanh International Airport Construction Investment Project (Phase 1) - Component Project 3 at Long Thanh International Airport, Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province.

The City People's Committee requires that the organization of groundbreaking, inauguration, and commencement ceremonies for key projects and works of the city be solemn, economical, efficient, safe, and in accordance with regulations.
