Navy Region 5 spreads reading culture, fosters love for the Fatherland

From April 15 to May 2 in Phu Quoc City (Kien Giang Province), the Naval Region 5 Library organized an exhibition, display and introduction of books with the theme "Entering the era of national development with books". The activity is to respond to the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, and at the same time practically celebrate the major holidays of the country and the Navy.

The exhibition displays thousands of books, newspapers and magazines with rich content, reflecting the history of the nation's revolutionary struggle, the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Navy and topics on the sea and islands. Many valuable publications about President Ho Chi Minh , the Great Victory of Spring 1975 and the 70-year journey of building, fighting and growing of the Vietnam People's Navy have attracted the attention of many cadres, soldiers, veterans, youth union members and local students.

With three scientifically arranged exhibition rooms, the exhibition not only helps viewers easily access the treasure trove of knowledge, but also becomes a space for exchange and sharing between generations. Thereby, contributing to fostering revolutionary ideals, love for the sea and islands, homeland and national pride in the young generation.

The exhibition is a practical activity to preserve and promote the nation's fine traditional cultural values, while enriching spiritual life and spreading the love of books among officers, soldiers and people. Thereby contributing to building a healthy cultural environment in the army and community, cultivating sustainable values ​​for the present and the future.
