“Journey of the Century” – An epic song dedicated to Him in the heart of the city named after Uncle Ho

The art program "Journey of the Century" held in Ho Chi Minh City brought emotional performances, recreating his great journey from when he left to find a way to save the country to when he became the leader of the nation.

On the evening of June 5, at the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City branch (District 4), the Organizing Committee for the celebration of major holidays of the City held a special art program with the theme "Journey of the Century."

The event took place to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the 114th anniversary of Uncle Ho's departure to find a way to save the country (June 5, 1911 - June 5, 2025) and the 56th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969 - 2025).

With a duration of 87 minutes, the art program was elaborately staged, divided into three chapters: The person who seeks the shape of the country, His words echo forever and The golden name shines. The program includes 20 unique art performances, blending music , dance and historical images, vividly recreating Uncle Ho's revolutionary journey, from the beginning of his journey to find a way to save the country to the legacy of ideology, morality and style that lasts forever.

The program opened with two profound and touching songs , “The Singing River” and “Singing from the City Named After Him.” These songs were like heartfelt words of gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, who devoted his entire life to the cause of national liberation and nation building.

Through the lyrics, the image of Uncle Ho is close but great, simple but profound, expressing a noble soul, a great personality - a genius leader, national liberation hero, world cultural celebrity.

In addition, the program also has some special performances such as: Footprints in the Front, Singing in the Pac Bo Forest, Ho Chi Minh's Song, You are the Faith of Certain Victory, Following the Sacred Testament, The Road of the Century of That Day ...

The program gathered the participation of many famous artists, creating a solemn and emotional atmosphere such as: People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, Meritorious Artist Van Khanh and young singers and artists (Pham The Vi, Khanh Ngoc, Pham Trang, Viet Danh, Dao Mac, Vo Ha Tram, Anh Tu, Duyen Huyen, Tung Lam, Thanh Nguyen, Thuy Trinh, Cao Cong Nghia, Truc Lai, Minh Sang, Dang Quan, Leo Minh Tuan).
