The tournament opened on April 27 at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course, Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation of 234 golfers. This is an important sporting event, not only to improve golf skills but also to carry deep humanistic values, towards gratitude to history and community connection.

Journalist Phung Cong Suong - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, said that this tournament was born from the urgent need for a large-scale grassroots playground in Ho Chi Minh City, where the golf movement is strongly developing. This tournament is also an occasion to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, with a part of the fund dedicated to supporting former Saigon commandos, the silent heroes of the Ho Chi Minh campaign.

The tournament's prize pool is up to 8 billion VND , including Hole-in-One prizes with valuable prizes such as luxury cars and high-end golf clubs. Technical prizes such as Near to the Pin and Longest Drive are also emphasized, creating a vibrant and thrilling atmosphere on the course.
