Most of the workers from other provinces have returned to Hai Duong after the holiday.

Through a survey at a number of large enterprises in the province by the afternoon of May 4, most workers from outside the province had returned to Hai Duong and were ready to return to work after the holiday.

Many businesses arrange for a group of workers to stay and work during the holidays to ensure production activities.

On the afternoon of May 4, through a survey at a number of labor-intensive enterprises such as May Tinh Loi Company Limited, Sumidenso Vietnam, Brother Vietnam Industry, Hyundai Kefico... most of the workers from other provinces have returned to Hai Duong and are ready to go back to work. Currently, these enterprises have over 45,000 workers, of which workers from other provinces account for about 35%.

On the occasion of April 30 and May 1 this year, businesses in the province have created conditions for workers to take long days off to rest and restore their labor.

Typically, Nissei Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. gave workers and employees the longest holiday of 6 days (from April 29 to May 4) and a bonus of 500,000 VND/person.

Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. gave its workers 5 days off (from May 30 to 4). On this occasion, the company rewarded employees with 25% of their basic monthly salary. Sumidenso Vietnam Co., Ltd. gave more than 10,000 employees a day off from April 27 to May 1 and a bonus of VND200,000/person.

Due to high order volume, some businesses such as May Tinh Loi, Camex... only arrange for workers to have 2 days off on April 30 and May 1.

To ensure production activities, most businesses in the province arrange for a team to stay and work or maintain machinery during the holidays with wages 2-3 times higher than normal working days.

The Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union organized many cultural and sports exchange activities for union members and workers on the occasion of April 30.

Previously, many businesses in the province organized cultural, artistic and sports activities, decorated offices and production workshops to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, national reunification and International Labor Day on May 1.
