At the meeting, delegates passed a resolution approving the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units in Phu Tan district, including 6 communes: Phu Tan, Phu Tan Nam, Phu Tan Bac, Phu Tan Dong, Phu Tan Tay and Phu Tan Trung.

Voting to pass the resolution approving the policy of rearranging An Giang and Kien Giang provinces on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of An Giang and Kien Giang provinces. After the rearrangement, An Giang province has a natural area of ​​9,888.91 km², a population of more than 4.952 million people; has 102 grassroots administrative units including 85 communes, 14 wards and 3 special zones. The administrative - political center of An Giang province is located in Rach Gia city (Kien Giang province).

Also at the meeting, the district People's Council delegates approved resolutions on the general planning project of Cho Vam town, Phu Tan district until 2035 and the task of adjusting the planning with Phu My town, Phu Tan district until 2040; adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2026 and public investment in the first 6 months of 2025 with capital managed by the district; supplementing the budget estimate for 2025...
