Training to improve the effectiveness of occupational safety and health work for businesses

The training course was attended by more than 140 delegates representing leaders and officials in charge of labor and employment in communes and towns; businesses and production and business establishments.

At the training course, delegates were informed of important contents of the Law on Occupational Safety and Hygiene; skills in identifying and assessing risks; methods of preventing occupational accidents and diseases; incident handling procedures and first aid. In addition, the reporter provided guidance on methods to build a safe working environment, minimize dangerous and toxic factors, and contribute to protecting workers' health.

The training course also spent time discussing practical issues and resolving difficulties and problems during implementation at the grassroots level.
