In 2024, Heineken Vietnam will continue to be among the top tax payers in Ho Chi Minh City, spending VND19.5 trillion on domestic purchases, while contributing an equivalent of 0.5% of the country's GDP and 1.7% of the total state budget revenue. In order to meet the increasingly diverse needs of consumers, the company has continuously introduced innovative products to the market, such as Heineken Silver and Tiger Crystal with lower alcohol content, 250ml coolpack products and Heineken 0.0 non-alcoholic barley drink with the aim of promoting a culture of responsible drinking.

At the meeting, Mr. Wietse Mutters also shared with the city leaders about the initiative to reuse treated wastewater for the purpose of watering landscape plants at Hoc Mon and Vung Tau factories, and at the same time recommended the development and promulgation of a set of national technical regulations on industrial wastewater reuse to create a premise for businesses to implement water resource circulation solutions in production.
