The workshop was organized by the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with the Department of Cinema (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies. The event also launched the Handbook " Ho Chi Minh City - Film Production Destination".
The workshop is expected to be attended by leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; film experts from France, Australia, Singapore, India; and representatives of many departments, branches, localities and domestic and international film producers.
Speakers will share many topics such as: international experience in building a film production environment, the “one-stop service” model for film crews, exploiting film sets and tours , policies to support film crews in localities, regional linkages and international cooperation in the film industry.
During the day, the organizing committee also organized a survey to learn about the management and operation model of Beta Cinema at Beta Ung Van Khiem cinema complex (No. 26, Ung Van Khiem Street, Thanh My Tay Ward, HCMC).
At 7:00 p.m. the same day, at the main stage of Nguyen Hue walking street, the art program "Music and fashion show in movies" will take place.
Competition film screenings and free panoramic films also continue to be held enthusiastically at cinema complexes.
Cinestar Hai Ba Trung (No. 135, Hai Ba Trung Street, Saigon Ward) will screen the film Detective Kien: The Headless Case (feature film) at 2:00 p.m., and the film Sao Xanh Noi Bien Song (panoramic feature film) at 8:00 p.m. In addition, there will be screenings of a series of competing science films at 4:00 p.m., a competing documentary at 6:00 p.m., and a panoramic documentary at 8:00 p.m.
CGV Hung Vuong Plaza cinema complex (No. 126, Hong Bang Street, Cho Lon Ward) at 9:00 shows Ghosts Catch: Pregnancy Brings Wealth (panoramic feature film), at 16:00 shows Mother's Beg (competition feature film) and at 20:00 shows Getting Rich with Ghosts: Diamond War (competition feature film). At 18:00 shows documentary Vietnam Women's Football: First Time Story (competition documentary). In addition, at 9:00 there is a series of panoramic animations; at 16:00 a series of competition documentaries and at 20:00 a series of panoramic documentaries.
Galaxy Parc Mall cinema complex (4th floor, Parc Mall shopping center, 547 - 549 Ta Quang Buu street, Chanh Hung ward) at 4 pm will show The Billionaire Kiss (feature film contest); 8 pm will show The Ghost in the Palace (panoramic feature film). At 9 am will show a series of animated films for the contest, at 4 pm and 6 pm will show a series of documentary films for the contest, at 8 pm will show a series of panoramic documentaries.
