Ticket prices increase from $45 to $496 for games between the New York Red Bulls and Miami. At Columbus Crew games, the average ticket price increases from $35 to $421. Both the Red Bulls and Los Angeles FC generate millions of dollars in additional revenue by hosting games with Inter Miami.

Clubs recognize this, and fans recognize it. Messi is pretty much the only thing driving ticket sales in the U.S..”
