Previously, Coach Vu Tien Thanh took on the role of Technical Director of HAGL on December 24. This is the second position that the former coach of Ho Chi Minh City Club holds after taking on the role of Director of HAGL Football Academy.
Kiatisak is a former Thai football star. He helped HAGL win the V.League championship in 2003 and 2004. In 2021, this strategist took the "hot seat" of the mountain town team.
In the first season, HAGL topped the table after 12 rounds with 29 points, but then the tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the 2022 season, this team could no longer maintain its form and finished the season in 6th place.
