The main event will take place on the evening of July 29 at Sydney Town Hall, New South Wales, with the participation of representatives from the 12 best football teams on the continent.
Before the draw, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) coordinated to organize a series of sideline activities for the teams participating in the tournament.
On the morning of July 28, Coach Mai Duc Chung and Huynh Nhu attended the Welcome event for the teams and took souvenir photos at Hickson Road Reserve outdoor park - an iconic location in Sydney - with the presence of NSW state leaders and representatives of the organizing committee.
In the afternoon of the same day, two representatives of the Vietnamese women's team continued to participate in photo shoots and promotional video recording activities at the Australian stadium, to serve the communication work for the tournament on international platforms.
After the official draw ceremony on the evening of July 29, representatives of the Vietnamese women's team and other teams will participate in media activities such as group photos, quick interviews and brief introductions about the goals of the tournament.
This is considered an important opportunity for teams to show their professional image as well as make an impression on fans across Asia.
The 2026 Asian Women's Football Championship is expected to kick off in early March 2026 with the participation of 12 teams including host Australia, Bangladesh, China, Chinese Taipei, DPRK, India, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
With highly rated professional quality, this year's tournament promises to be a top-notch playground, where the Vietnamese women's team continues its journey to affirm its position in the continental arena.
