During more than 5 years of implementing the coordination program, the Provincial Farmers' Association and the Provincial Border Guard Command have effectively carried out many activities to improve the lives of farmers, contributing to strengthening the people's hearts and minds in the border area.

Specifically, the units coordinated to organize more than 1,300 propaganda sessions, with over 82,000 members and farmers participating; issued nearly 5,000 leaflets to disseminate laws, focusing on contents such as agricultural and rural development policies, Border Regulations, Vietnam Border Law; built 120 Gratitude houses for disadvantaged households.
Through activities supporting the conversion of crops and livestock, developing economic models of households, cooperatives, and cooperative groups; organizing technical training courses and borrowing capital for production, the units have helped more than 435 farming households in border areas escape poverty sustainably.

The work of maintaining security and order and protecting sovereignty has also been stepped up, through which 38 self-managed security and order teams, 36 border and landmark protection teams have been established; 51 crime reporting mailboxes have been built; and over 3,200 households have been mobilized to sign a commitment to participate in preventing social evils. The self-managed teams have coordinated 386 patrols with nearly 1,900 participants; cleared and cleaned nearly 200 km of border patrol roads. Farmers' Association members have also actively participated in detecting, providing information, and supporting the handling of 225 violations of Border Regulations, with 420 related subjects.
At the conference, delegates contributed ideas, shared experiences, and proposed many solutions to improve the effectiveness of the coordination program in the coming time. These include continuing to promote propaganda and mobilize farmer members to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, especially socio-economic development programs and projects associated with the task of protecting sovereignty and border security; strengthening coordination to grasp the situation and handle issues arising at the grassroots level; promoting the role of social supervision and criticism; being proactive, creative, and developing sustainable agriculture and rural areas...

On this occasion, the Provincial Farmers' Association awarded certificates of merit to 21 groups and 22 individuals; the Provincial Border Guard Command awarded certificates of merit to 5 groups and 6 individuals with many achievements in implementing the coordination program for the period 2019 - 2025.
