The training will introduce the Sustainable Development Standards Navigator Toolkit for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) developed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program (TSCFP) in collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC).
The toolkit will support businesses to increase their competitiveness, access markets and supply chains by understanding and complying with sustainability standards and regulations in the context of increasing requirements for sustainable products and new financial and commercial trends.
The training course is aimed at representatives of enterprises in the textile and food processing sector (business leaders, Departments/officers in charge of sustainable development, quality standards; officers in charge of import and export...).
Content of the training course
This is an opportunity for businesses to directly use the AI-integrated toolkit to assess their readiness for sustainability standards and certification. International experts from the ADB - TSCFP Program will guide businesses in analyzing and diagnosing their ability to comply with sustainability standards; develop specialized review reports for businesses, identify the most suitable standards, areas for improvement, and specific action steps to achieve certification for sustainable development in export activities; and provide guidance for businesses' sustainable development activities. At the same time, through the training course, participants will also have the opportunity to exchange, learn, and share practical experiences among businesses.
