Support students in difficult circumstances in the program "Support to go to school"

On the afternoon of June 24, representatives of the program "Support to School" including leaders of Thai Binh Newspaper and Thai Binh Provincial Red Cross Association visited and presented financial support to Nguyen Ha Phuong, in Group 3, Tran Lam Ward (Thai Binh City).

Representatives of the management units of the "Support to School" fund presented 50 million VND to support Nguyen Ha Phuong.

Nguyen Ha Phuong is 13 years old this year. She has been living with kidney failure for nearly 10 years and has undergone 6 surgeries. Phuong has an 8-year-old sister and a 1-year-old younger brother. Her mother has congenital heart disease. To support the family of 5, Phuong's father works as a bread delivery man to earn money. Since her kidney failure, Phuong's treatment costs have amounted to nearly 1 billion VND. In early 2025, when Phuong's illness became more serious, her father voluntarily donated one of his kidneys to her. Her mother had to take over her husband's job to support the family.

Wishing to provide timely encouragement to help Nguyen Ha Phuong overcome her illness, leaders of Thai Binh Newspaper and Thai Binh Provincial Red Cross Association visited her and gave her a gift of 50 million VND in cash from the "Support to School" fund.

The program "Support to School" also broadcast a report calling on the community to continue supporting Phuong, giving her more motivation to overcome her illness, return to school soon and continue her dream.
