Working group of UNDP and Provincial Red Cross Society implemented the project. |
The project aims to support 275 households and 15 cooperatives in Phu Binh, Phu Luong and Dinh Hoa districts - localities that suffered heavy damage after the storm. Priority will be given to poor and near-poor households, households with especially difficult circumstances, households with elderly people (aged 65 and over), single women, pregnant women, women with children under 5 years old and people with disabilities.

Each eligible household will receive VND3-5 million in cash to cover essential needs such as food, necessities and basic consumer goods. At the same time, 15 cooperatives and farms will be selected based on the extent of damage, recovery capacity and commitment to effectively use resources. Each unit will receive VND45 million to restore production. The total cost of the project is more than VND2.6 billion, implemented from May to September 2025.

Along with direct support, the project also surveyed the status of public works and material needs at the cooperative to ensure sustainable recovery and minimize risks from future natural disasters.
Currently, the Provincial Red Cross Society is coordinating with local authorities to review and select beneficiaries, and at the same time consult actual needs to develop a support plan that is close to the conditions of each locality.
