Agree to submit to the Government for recognition of districts meeting new rural and advanced new rural standards.

On May 27, at the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Central Appraisal Council held a meeting to consider recognizing Dai Tu district as meeting advanced new rural standards; Phu Luong district as meeting new rural standards in 2024. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Thanh Nam, Chairman of the Council, chaired the meeting.

On the side of Thai Nguyen province, there were comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of leaders of Dai Tu and Phu Luong districts, relevant departments and branches.

After 1 year of being recognized as meeting the standards of a new rural district (2023), Dai Tu district continues to promote the construction of advanced new rural areas (NTM) and achieve many outstanding results. Up to now, 25/25 communes of the district have been recognized as meeting NTM standards, period 2021 - 2025, of which 16 communes have met advanced NTM standards and 2 communes have met model NTM standards. Hung Son and Quan Chu towns have been recognized as meeting civilized urban standards. The district has also successfully built 2 smart hamlet models (Trung Na hamlet, Tien Hoi commune and Dong Tien hamlet, La Bang commune), 1 smart commune model (Tien Hoi commune). Currently, the district has 33 products recognized as OCOP, of which 24 products meet 3-star standards, 9 products meet 4-star standards...

For Phu Luong, 12/12 rural communes have been recognized as meeting NTM standards, of which 3 communes have met advanced NTM standards and 2 communes have met model NTM standards. All communes have been reviewed and assessed to meet standards according to the Set of criteria for NTM communes, the Set of criteria for advanced NTM communes and the Regulations on model NTM communes for the period 2021-2025. In the district, there are 2 towns, Du and Giang Tien, which have both met civilized urban standards, reaching a rate of 100%. Regarding the implementation results and the level of meeting the criteria for NTM districts, Phu Luong district has met the requirements.

At the meeting, members of the Central Appraisal Council agreed with the report on the results of Dai Tu district meeting the advanced NTM standards and Phu Luong district meeting the NTM standards in 2024. Based on the records, appraisal results and comments at the meeting, 100% of the members of the Central Appraisal Council agreed to submit to the Prime Minister for consideration and recognition of Dai Tu district meeting the advanced NTM district standards in 2024.
