“Death hole” on the road connecting Dong Ai Tu Industrial Park with National Highway 1

For many days now, hundreds of workers in the Dong Ai Tu Industrial Park, Ai Tu Town, Trieu Phong District, as well as students and residents, have been living in fear every day as they have to pass through a section of road where a manhole cover about 1 square meter wide and over 1 meter deep collapsed near the intersection of these two roads.

Many workers said that after finishing work in the late afternoon, when it was getting dark, the density of cars on these two routes was very high, so it was very difficult to detect the "death hole" in front of them. If they were not careful, both people and cars would fall into the hole, which was extremely dangerous.

Fearing this would happen, people living nearby cut down large tree branches and temporarily stuck them in the hole as a warning.

This is the route connecting Dong Ai Tu Industrial Park with National Highway 1. This route does not have a traffic light system, so many accidents have occurred. Now, the manhole cover of the drainage system has collapsed, so the risk of traffic accidents is even higher.

Propose that local authorities and relevant units promptly fix the problem to avoid traffic accidents at this location.
