Located deep in a densely populated residential area in Me Tri Thuong ward, Nam Tu Liem district - Hanoi , the grocery store of Mr. Pham Nhuan (40 years old) mainly serves local residents with basic necessities.

Recently, he searched for and applied sales software to manage his family business, after being informed of regulations related to electronic invoices generated from cash registers.

"At first I was a little confused, but after a while of getting used to it, I found it was not difficult at all," said Mr. Pham Nhuan. Currently, he and his staff have issued invoices for all orders, in parallel with entering old sales data recorded in notebooks.

Taking her daughter to shop, Ms. Phuong Linh (29 years old) felt quite surprised with the new shopping experience. The small value order, including lollipops and fresh milk, also came with an electronic invoice with a professional QR code, helping her easily look up information about the buyer and seller.

Currently, Mr. Pham Nhuan uses software from KiotViet - a solution provider that recently announced free electronic invoices and digital signatures for sellers.

Mr. Hai Duy (27 years old), owner of a makeup academy in Pho Hue ward, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi is also applying electronic invoices in daily business.

“Thanks to the electronic invoices and digital signatures integrated into the sales software, we can deploy immediately without additional investment,” said Mr. Hai Duy.

Working part-time at Duy’s academy during the summer break, Gia Han (19 years old) quickly got used to the new process. “I just need to enter customer information, everything is automated,” Han said.

After registering for a makeup course, customers receive an email and an electronic invoice with the information entered correctly.

Students of the makeup class that started at the end of May were provided with electronic invoices after registering for the service. “I feel secure because the transaction is quick, showing the professionalism of the academy,” said one student.

Thanks to its convenience, the use of electronic invoices generated from cash registers has now partly entered the lives of the family business community in Vietnam.
