Hoa Thanh: More than 7.8 billion VND to implement the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

In recent times, the implementation of the program to mobilize and support the construction of temporary and dilapidated houses and social security programs in the area has achieved positive results.

In the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, Hoa Thanh town supported the construction of 81 new houses; including 3 gratitude houses for families of meritorious people and 78 houses for poor and near-poor households.

Of which, in the resettlement area of Long Thanh Nam commune, there are 41 houses; in the resettlement area of Truong Hoa commune, there are 34 houses and 6 houses that the beneficiaries built themselves on the land of their families and relatives.

The total cost of implementing the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Hoa Thanh town is more than 7.8 billion VND.

The total cost of the project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area is over 7.8 billion VND, supported by the Fund for the Poor, the Gratitude Fund of the province, the town and communes and wards. In addition, the locality also mobilized nearly 7,800 bags of cement and many equipment and household items to implement the program.

Secretary of Hoa Thanh Town Party Committee Tran Van Khai acknowledged and commended the achievements of Party committees, authorities, and Fatherland Fronts at all levels in the area in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses as well as organizing and implementing social security programs. At the same time, he requested to continue to focus on thorough review, ensuring the right subjects, not missing any subjects in need of support; strictly implementing procedures and processes, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
