Accordingly, HAG will mortgage nearly 166 million shares of Gia Lai Livestock Joint Stock Company owned by Hoang Anh Gia Lai to secure a maximum total loan amount of VND 1,050 billion for Gia Lai Livestock's loans at LPBank this time.

Gia Lai Livestock Joint Stock Company was established in 2014, operating mainly in the fields of crop cultivation and livestock breeding. As of March 31, Hoang Anh Gia Lai holds 85% of Gia Lai Livestock's charter capital. As of December 31, 2023, HAG's investment in Gia Lai Livestock has an original value of VND 1,814 billion.

In the first quarter of this year, HAG achieved revenue of VND1,242 billion, down nearly 27% compared to the same period last year. Deducting cost of goods sold, Hoang Anh Gia Lai recorded a gross profit increase of more than 10%, to VND498 billion.

As of March 31, Hoang Anh Gia Lai had accumulated losses of VND1,452 billion. The company's total financial debt was VND7,816 billion. Total assets reached VND21,170 billion. Fixed assets reached VND5,903 billion.

Sold nearly 8.38 million treasury shares
