Students experience reality at Thanh Thuy International Border Gate Border Guard Station

On November 23, Nguyen Trai Secondary School, Bac Quang District, Ha Giang Province organized for nearly 300 students, teachers and parents to experience reality at Thanh Thuy International Border Gate Border Guard Station, Ha Giang Border Guard.

At the experience session, teachers and students of the school were introduced by officers and soldiers in the unit about the tradition of Thanh Thuy International Border Guard Station and the situation and results of performing tasks in managing and protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in recent years; gaining more awareness and understanding of the work and tasks of Border Guard soldiers; introducing the history of the border section, the direction of the border line, the locations of national border markers and visiting the models and landscapes of the unit. Thereby, raising awareness andeducating students about the task of firmly protecting the national border sovereignty of the Border Guard force.

The activities took place in a lively and attractive atmosphere through many contents such as: Traditional education, introduction to border lines, landmarks, border gates, instructions for students to practice folding, arranging hygiene, visiting the places where Border soldiers eat, live, and work... brought students a very useful and interesting experience.

Through this activity, teachers and students will get acquainted with the military environment, practice a sense of discipline, self-reliance, diligence, and efforts to improve in life; at the same time, create a useful playground, educate students on a beautiful lifestyle, a useful life for the community, love, share difficulties with everyone, especially appreciate the value of life to improve themselves; raise awareness and deepen understanding of borders and landmarks. Thereby, determine their responsibility in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security. These practical experiences are meaningful and educational, for today's young generation to always look towards the border, contributing to building and protecting the borders of the Fatherland./.
