Naval Academy meets military-civilian solidarity in 2024

On the afternoon of December 20, the Naval Academy organized a meeting to unite the military and civilians in 2024 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024). Attending the meeting were more than 100 delegates representing government leaders, organizations, agencies, departments of Khanh Hoa province, Nha Trang city, Dak Lak province and schools, agencies, units, and businesses located in the area.

In 2024, the Naval Academy has thoroughly grasped the directives, resolutions, plans, and instructions of Party committees at all levels on mass mobilization work in the new situation. Proactively and synchronously deploying mass mobilization work, achieving effectiveness, coordinating well with Party committees, local authorities, agencies, and units in the stationed area, and resolving military-civilian relations well. Notable activities include participating in building a strong local political base; helping people develop the economy, culture, society, and reduce poverty; building new rural areas; donating houses; donating blood, providing free medical examination and treatment to people, etc.

Many specific results have been achieved such as: Coordinating with localities to organize over 80 information sessions on the situation of the sea and islands; promoting human resource attraction combined with military recruitment consulting for over 20,000 people; well organizing the programs "Semester in the Army", "Future Young Leaders", "Vietnam Summer Camp"; responding to the program Khanh Hoa People Speak English; mobilizing over 1,300 volunteers to donate 1,061 units of blood; examining and providing free medicine for 310 people in Khanh Trung commune...

At the meeting, delegates highly appreciated the effectiveness of coordination between localities, units and the academy; acknowledged new and creative features in the academy's mass mobilization activities.
