Naval Academy meets to celebrate 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

The Naval Academy recently held a meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) and to honor outstanding groups and individuals who have made many positive contributions to the academy's journalism, information and propaganda activities. Rear Admiral Nguyen Huu Thoan - Political Commissar of the Naval Academy chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were the Party Committee, Board of Directors of the Academy; leaders, commanders of agencies, faculties, units; officers, editors, reporters, staff of the Naval Science and Training Journal, the Academy's website; scientists, collaborators, and informants from the entire academy.

Over the past time, the articles in the Naval Science and Training Journal have always ensured authenticity, high scientific content, in-depth research on new scientific issues, ensuring information security and safety. The Journal has been published and distributed to 185 focal units inside and outside the Navy at the intermediate level, brigades and equivalent or higher, libraries of military schools and some agencies of the Ministry of National Defense ... The Journal has also been digitized on the academy's internal website, the electronic library page and the website of the Information Center on the Military Science Information Network (Misten), the Ministry of National Defense, helping readers to look up information online...

At the meeting, Rear Admiral Nguyen Huu Thoan acknowledged and praised the positive and effective contributions of the cadres working in the press and propaganda sector in recent times; at the same time, he requested the Party committees and commanders of agencies, faculties and units to pay attention to promoting the role of press, information and propaganda; cadres, lecturers and collaborators to constantly improve their political qualities and professional qualifications, actively contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of press, information and propaganda of the academy in the coming time.

On this occasion, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Naval Academy presented certificates of merit to 2 groups and 9 individuals who have had outstanding achievements in journalism, information and propaganda work in recent times.
