Before taking the exam, the students had been well-prepared. Therefore, not only in the recent exam, but also in other exams, the academy's teams won prizes.

In order to build a team of cadres and officers who are not only steadfast in political will, good at military and tactical skills, but also have a solid foundation of scientific and technical knowledge, creative thinking and the ability to master modern and complex weapons and technical equipment, in recent years, the Naval Academy has effectively implemented the policy of bringing students to approach and participate in competitions at all levels. The academy's teams regularly participate in the following subjects: English, Russian, Informatics, Mathematics, and social sciences and humanities. In 2025, for the first time, the academy established a Chemistry team to participate in competitions. Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thu Hue - Head of the Faculty of Basic - Foreign Languages, Naval Academy said that the results of the Olympic competitions are an important part of the academy's comprehensive and high-quality training strategy. Therefore, the academy focuses on investing in teaching and learning basic sciences and specialized technical sciences. The training program is regularly updated and innovated in a modern direction, approaching the level of advanced countries in the region and the world. The teaching staff is constantly trained to improve their professional qualifications and pedagogical skills, actively conduct scientific research and apply information technology in teaching.

The Naval Academy team won third place overall at the 3rd All-Army Russian Language Olympiad.

Through each competition, students are exposed to knowledge, thereby developing good thinking. In practice, the Naval Academy's teams participating in the competitions have achieved high results, such as: Winning 5 individual prizes at the 33rd Vietnam Student Informatics Olympiad at the end of 2024; winning third place overall, with 10 individual prizes at the 2024 All-Army Russian Language Olympiad... This is proof of the effectiveness of combining study, research with academic competition. "In the coming time, the academy will continue to build a regular, scientific, exemplary learning and training environment, creating the best conditions for each student to develop comprehensively in terms of political qualities, ethics, and professional capacity. From there, it will train naval officers with enough courage and capacity, ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks," said Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thu Hue.
