City Veterans Association supports building and repairing 21 houses for members

On May 8, the City Veterans Association handed over a house of gratitude to veteran Nguyen Van Loi (Qua Giang 2 village, Hoa Phuoc commune, Hoa Vang district). After two months of construction, the house was completed with a space including a living room, mezzanine, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom; the total construction cost was nearly 120 million VND (including 80 million VND donated by the City Veterans Business Association and support from the association level, and free labor from members).

On this occasion, the Hoa Vang District Veterans Association and the City Veterans Entrepreneurs Association presented household items to help veteran Nguyen Van Loi stabilize his life. Implementing the emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the city by 2025, the City Veterans Association supported the construction and repair of 21 houses for members (4 new houses, 17 houses repaired), with a total cost of 830 million VND. To date, the association has completed the repair of 17 houses and the construction of 3 new houses for members.
