At the end of the first quarter of 2025, VietinBank recorded many positive results with total assets reaching VND 2,470 trillion, up 3.5% compared to the end of 2024. Outstanding loans reached VND 1,800 trillion, up 4.6% compared to the end of 2024, higher than the credit growth rate of the entire banking industry. Customer deposits reached VND 1,621 trillion, up 0.9% compared to the end of 2024. Of which, VietinBank's CASA capital reached VND 395 trillion, up 24.7% over the same period. The ratio of CASA/total mobilized capital reached 24.4%.
In particular, VietinBank continuously improves the efficiency of using and managing operating costs, prioritizing business promotion activities, digital transformation and key projects.

During this time, VietinBank also kicked off the implementation of 35 new digital transformation initiatives. Previously, in 2024, VietinBank deployed 45 foundational initiatives. This continues to affirm that VietinBank is entering the acceleration phase for its comprehensive digital transformation journey, focusing on continuing to deeply digitize products and services, redesign business processes, enhance the exploitation of data power, apply AI and Big Data to personalize products, promote up-selling and cross-selling; while improving customer experience.
Along with that, VietinBank has established the Data & Artificial Intelligence Division, demonstrating a strategic vision in exploiting advanced technology, big data and artificial intelligence to enhance competitiveness.
It can be seen that VietinBank is leading the country's development orientations such as digital transformation, sustainable development, streamlining the apparatus, improving the quality of human resources and labor productivity.
In particular, VietinBank has proactively researched and implemented a reduction in its transaction network. According to the plan, VietinBank will cut hundreds of transaction points nationwide; at the same time, focus on developing modern digital platforms to improve service quality, improve customer experience and optimize operations. This streamlining not only aims to increase operational efficiency and save costs, but is also an indispensable part in strongly promoting VietinBank's digital transformation process in the coming time.
