During two days, April 24-25, the Military Technical Academy organized the 20th Scientific Conference of Young Researchers, 2025.
The Academy organized this conference for the first time in 2005 with the aim of creating a scientific forum for young scientists so that lecturers, young researchers, graduate students and postgraduate students have the opportunity to present their research results and gain more experience when reporting a scientific issue before a professional council.
This is also a place to exchange information and create conditions for young researchers to receive comments and feedback from experts and senior scientists to improve research results, as well as more clearly define future research directions.
Speaking at the opening session of the Conference, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Le Minh Thai - Director of the Military Technical Academy - informed that this year the Organizing Committee received 289 full-text articles from authors who are officers, lecturers, researchers, and postgraduate students of training institutions and research institutes inside and outside the Academy.
After reviewing the criteria and quality, the Program Committee agreed to send 289 full-text articles for reviewers' comments. As a result, 252 full-text articles were approved by reviewers.

According to Prof. Dr. Le Minh Thai, the Organizing Committee has actively applied information technology and digital transformation in the organization of the conference such as: receiving registration, sending full-text articles for review, sending reviewer comments to authors, collecting full-text articles via the internet system (for non-confidential articles); information and documents of the conference are also digitized and posted on the Academy's website so that scientists can easily access them through the use of QR codes.
The Organizing Committee also requested an ISBN publication number for the full-text Proceedings Collection before organizing the sub-committee sessions of the Conference.
In the plenary session, the Academy invited young scientists to report on in-depth research directions in areas that are currently of great interest and are encouraged and promoted for research and investment by the State and the Army, such as: Key issues in UAV calculation and design; Trends in technology development and applications in command automation; Artificial intelligence and applications in telecommunications electronics; Applications of mathematics and AI in new-generation biotechnology; Effective implementation of hardware to accelerate AI computation at the edge; IoT device fault injection attacks: Risks and reinforcement solutions; Estimating vital signs using non-contact sensors.
Prof. Dr. Le Minh Thai affirmed that in the coming time, the Academy will expand the participants to young scientists and postgraduate students from training institutions inside and outside the Army. The method and time of organizing the conference will be increasingly standardized according to the way of organizing domestic and international scientific conferences...
