The fair is held at Song Cau walking street, Bac Kan city from April 25 to 29, 2025. This is not only an opportunity to trade and promote OCOP products, typical agricultural products of provinces and cities in the Cau River basin, but also a diverse and colorful cultural space.

The fair has 80 booths, with the participation of provinces and cities along the Cau River such as: Bac Kan, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong and the capital Hanoi. Each locality brings typical agricultural and handicraft products, famous culinary specialties, clearly reflecting the culture and economic potential of their land.

Walking around the fair, visitors can easily come across attractive display booths, with delicious Thai Nguyen tea products, or long-standing traditional craft villages of Kinh Bac region. The distinctive flavors of shrimp cakes, Hanoi green rice cakes, Uoc Le spring rolls, Hai Duong green bean cakes, turmeric starch, yellow flower tea, fragrant pumpkin tea, dong vermicelli, sausage, Bac Kan smoked meat... spread throughout the space, stimulating the taste buds of anyone who sets foot in this fair.
Not only stopping at shopping activities, the Cau River Basin Regional Specialty Fair is also a place where many unique cultural and artistic activities take place. The performances of typical intangible cultural heritages of ethnic groups in the Cau River Basin have brought unique experiences, helping visitors understand more about the rich spiritual life of the people here.

In particular, the floating stage on the poetic Cau River has become an impressive highlight of the Culture - Tourism Week in general and the Fair in particular.
