According to Counselor Bui Trung Thuong, despite being prepared in a short time, the Autumn Fair 2025 still left a strong impression with its large scale, the number of businesses and the variety of products on display. The Indian business delegation was the largest group attending and accompanied the program throughout, which demonstrated a special interest in the Vietnamese market. Many Indian businesses appreciated the professionalism of Vietnamese units and at the same time gave suggestions to improve the quality of organization in the next fairs.
During the working sessions, Indian businesses expressed their impression of Vietnam's handicrafts, creative products and healthcare products - areas considered to have great potential when penetrating the Indian market. In contrast, environmentally friendly products and nutritional supplements from India are also considered to have great opportunities in Vietnam, opening up a two-way cooperation direction between the two economies .
Mr. Bui Trung Thuong said that the growing interest of Indian enterprises in Vietnam comes from the trend of global trade shifts, the US's reciprocal tax policies, as well as the proactive connection of the representative agencies and business communities of the two countries, plus the presence of many direct flights between the two sides. In the coming time, the Vietnam Trade Office in India will continue to organize Indian business delegations to attend four Spring - Summer - Autumn - Winter fairs in Vietnam, while promoting trade promotion activities, direct investment in domestic localities, and promoting business-to-business cooperation. In addition, the Vietnam Trade Office in India will continue to support large enterprises with strong economic potential and the ability to promote investment abroad according to the Go Global policy that the Ministry of Industry and Trade is issuing, drafting, and recommending to the government, while supporting small and medium enterprises to access and develop successfully in the Indian market.
Referring to recommendations for Vietnamese businesses, Mr. Bui Trung Thuong emphasized: “The Indian market has great potential but requires perseverance and a deep understanding of the law and consumer culture. Businesses need to carefully research tastes, ensure tight contracts and should cooperate with capable Indian partners to quickly penetrate the market.”
VNA correspondent in New Delhi also had an interview with Mr. Aakash Kushwah - Senior Manager of India Exhibition Management Company Limited (IEML), who directly represented IEML at the Autumn Fair 2025. Mr. Aakash expressed his "great impression" with the professional organization and the vivid display of Vietnamese culture at the fair. He said that compared to many other international fairs, the event in Vietnam is considered to "focus more on consumers", helping businesses better understand market tastes.
During the exchange and working process with Vietnamese partners, Mr. Aakash realized many potentials for cooperation in the field of production and export of rattan, wooden furniture, interior decoration - the strong products of Vietnam. He emphasized: "We highly appreciate the production capacity of Vietnamese enterprises and believe that there will soon be specific cooperation projects because after the fair, IEML and Vietnamese partners will continue to maintain online contact to discuss business opportunities."
Assessing the fair’s future development potential, Mr. Aakash said the event could become “a major regional destination for trade and supply chain connections.” In addition, he also recommended that the organizers increase B2B networking sessions, organize factory tours, expand international outreach, and provide translation support for foreign visitors to enhance the effectiveness of bilateral trade cooperation.
In addition, a representative of AVA Cholayil Health Care Company (Kaytra Brand) - a famous enterprise in the field of personal care and natural cosmetics, with products developed from the essence of Ayurveda of India - also highly appreciated the organization of the fair in Vietnam. He said that Kaytra had found a good partner for its brand at this fair. Therefore, Kaytra is very optimistic about the journey ahead.
Besides, he also hopes to receive information about any upcoming exhibitions or trade fairs in Vietnam, especially B2C exhibitions.
Thus, the Autumn Fair 2025 not only affirms Vietnam's position in organizing international trade events, but also opens up practical cooperation opportunities between the Vietnamese and Indian business communities. With the initiative of promotion agencies and determination from both sides, bilateral trade relations promise to continue to develop strongly, towards the goal of sustainable and balanced growth in the coming period.
