Cho Vam Commune Veterans Association completed 100% of the resolution targets

On October 30, the Veterans Association of Cho Vam commune (An Giang province) held the 8th Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

During the past term, the Veterans Association of Cho Vam commune has completed 100% of the targets set out in the resolution. The Association mobilized members to develop the economy and help each other escape poverty sustainably, with 18 members receiving preferential loans of more than 720 million VND, helping 5 households escape poverty.

Emulation movements such as “Exemplary Veterans” and “Joining hands to build new rural areas” have been effectively implemented. The Association supports the construction and repair of 15 houses of Comradeship, with a total cost of over 500 million VND. Every year, 100% of the branches are recognized for completing their tasks well, of which 100% of the members achieve the title of “Exemplary Member”.

According to the decision passed at the congress, the Standing Committee of the Veterans Association of An Giang province appointed 11 comrades to join the Executive Committee of the Veterans Association of Cho Vam commune, term VIII; comrade Dang Van Giau was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Veterans Association of the commune for the 2025 - 2030 term.

In the new term, the Veterans Association of Cho Vam commune has set out 12 main tasks with 3 breakthroughs. In particular, striving to reduce the rate of poor veteran members to less than 0.2%; annually, over 95% of the association organizations complete their tasks well or better; admit 85% of eligible subjects to the association and 70% of members present in the locality to participate in club activities...
