Duy Xuyen District Youth Volunteer Veterans Association meets to celebrate 75th anniversary of tradition

(QNO) – Today, June 5, the Duy Xuyen District Youth Volunteer Veterans Association held a meeting to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force Tradition Day (July 15, 1950 - July 15, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Quang Nam Provincial Youth Volunteer Veterans Association (November 10, 2005 - November 10, 2025).

The Duy Xuyen District Veterans Association currently has 1,928 members, participating in activities at 13 association branches. Over the past time, the association has always done a good job of propaganda, effectively implementing the movement "Comradely affection"; recommending and proposing policies for veteran veterans.

Particularly on the occasion of Tet At Ty 2025, the Duy Xuyen District Veterans Association mobilized to donate 360 ​​gifts with a total value of 205 million VND. In addition, it regularly encouraged and visited members when they were sick, celebrated longevity of elderly members, and saw off members when they passed away.

In the new rural construction movement, cadres and members of the Youth Volunteers Association in Duy Xuyen voluntarily donated ^15,000m2 of land, dismantled more than 6,500m of fences - gates, architectural structures, cut down 5,000 fruit trees with high economic value and contributed more than 7,000 working days to pour concrete on 50km of rural roads, solidify 35km of intra-field canals. At the same time, more than 60 wall steles were built, 60km of electric lines were installed to light up the countryside... creating a new look for the countryside.

On this occasion, 8 members of the Duy Xuyen District Veterans Association were honored to receive the Commemorative Medal from the Vietnam Veterans Association. In addition, the Duy Xuyen District Veterans Association also concluded and awarded prizes for the contest to learn about the 75-year history of the Vietnam Veterans Association and presented gifts to members in difficult circumstances in the area.
