
The event was attended by representatives from the Vietnam National Tourism Administration and the People's Committee of Da Nang City.
This year, the Michelin Guide announced a list of 181 restaurants in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang that have won awards, including 9 restaurants with 1 Michelin star (one of which is a new restaurant and one that has been upgraded), 63 restaurants that have won the Bib Gourmand award (9 of which are new), and 109 restaurants selected based on culinary quality (14 of which are new).
In Da Nang alone, La Maison 1888 restaurant (InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort) continues to maintain its 1-Michelin-star rating; Nén restaurant maintains its Green Michelin star rating.
Among the 9 new Michelin-starred eateries recognized for serving excellent food at affordable prices (Bib Gourmand), 4 are located in Da Nang: Banh Xeo 76, Bun Bo Hue Ba Thuong, Que Xua, and Shamballa.
Regarding the list of restaurants included in the Michelin Selected category, Da Nang has 3 establishments: Bep Cuon, Bun Rieu Cua 39, and Moc.

Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of Michelin Guides, said: "This year we are very proud to see an increase in the number of Michelin-starred restaurants, and these establishments have a team of talented chefs."
Many of them have returned to their roots, combining modern processing techniques to tell stories of their homeland and rediscover the flavors of their childhood.
At the same time, street food stalls, family-run eateries, and long-established food establishments still focus on preserving culinary traditions along with authenticity and passion.
