Provincial Children's Council: Exchange at Quang Ninh District Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities

On the afternoon of April 25, at the Quang Ninh District Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Provincial Children's Council to organize a communication exchange program with the topics "Prevention of violence and child sexual abuse" and "Prevention of harmful effects of tobacco and stimulants".

With the aim of creating a bridge between the provincial Council of Education and ethnic minority students, the program listened to the students' thoughts and aspirations; at the same time, it communicated and raised awareness about preventing violence, child sexual abuse and the harmful effects of tobacco and stimulants.

 

From there, promote the role and voice of children in participating in issues related to children, promote coordination between schools and the Youth Union in the work of protecting, caring for and educating children.

Members of the Provincial Children's Council also introduced the operating model, reported the results of collecting information on children in the province related to child protection issues; organized situational plays and quiz games to help students access knowledge in a lively and easy-to-understand way, contributing to equipping them with skills to handle situations and protect themselves when in danger.

Members of the Provincial Children's Council presented the results of information collection on preventing and combating violence, abuse and the harmful effects of stimulants.

On this occasion, the Provincial Council of Children's Advisory Board presented the school with a souvenir and 40 publications of the results of collecting children's information to serve the school's propaganda and education work.
