Akari said that although she has lived in Vietnam for 4 years, her Vietnamese is still not enough to fully understand Vietnamese culture as well as the acting in Em and Trinh. "I spent a lot of time learning not only Vietnamese but also acting," the actress said.
Sharing that Em va Trinh is her first film as an actress and that she is the only foreigner in the film crew, she said that at first she felt very nervous. "Regarding the language, although I have studied Vietnamese and studied in Vietnam for a long time, Vietnamese is extremely difficult. Therefore, working with the crew, I was very worried. Luckily, working with Vietnamese people such as directors, producers..., everyone is wonderful," Akari confided.
The actress believes that the Vietnamese communication culture is very special, especially in the very friendly way of communicating. "In Japan, many people say that the way of thinking of Vietnamese and Japanese people has many similarities. I think, although Vietnam and Japan have differences, I think cooperation will be easier than with other countries...", the muse of Em and Trinh said.
The muse Michiko in You and Trinh attracts attention with her elegant beauty.
Speaking more about the role of Michiko, director Phan Gia Nhat Linh said that initially the film crew intended to find a Vietnamese actress to play Michiko, because it was too difficult to find a Japanese actress who could speak Vietnamese.
But with the desire to have a Japanese person to play the role to match reality, the film crew had to go to great lengths to find a Japanese actor and discovered that there were many Japanese actors in both Japan and Vietnam who wanted to play the role of Michiko.
"However, these Japanese actors are not good at Vietnamese. Luckily, we found Akari because she speaks Vietnamese and acts well," said director Em and Trinh - Phan Gia Nhat Linh.
