The City Women's Union hands over "Shelter of Love" to female members in difficult circumstances - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the morning of April 4 , the Women's Union of Lang Son city organized the handover of "Shelter of Love" to 2 women members in difficult circumstances in Quang Lac commune.

Specifically, 2 women's union members received financial support to build " Warm and loving" houses: Ms. Hoang Thi Phien, Quang Tien 1 village and Ms. Vi Thi Khai, Quang Trung 1 village, Quang Lac commune.

It is known that the family of Ms. Hoang Thi Phien, Quang Tien 1 village, is very poor. Both grandparents are old and unable to work . The house she lived in was built many years ago and is in a state of serious disrepair. The walls are cracked and broken ; the roof is patched with tiles, many places leak when it rains, the rafters and pillars are rotten, a wall behind the house collapsed due to the effects of a storm in 2024 , not ensuring safety.

The family of Mrs. Vi Thi Khai, Quang Trung 1 village is poor, her husband died early , she is the main laborer in the house to raise her children. Her house was built a long time ago, the brick wall frame has many cracks, the dirt floor, the yin-yang tile roof leaks in many places when it rains, the rafters and pillars are rotten, not ensuring the safety of the family's life.

Faced with that situation, the City Women's Union supported each household with 30 million VND, along with the family's savings and loans, and two new solid houses were built with an area of 60m2 and 65m2 , The total construction cost of each house is 150 million VND.

This is one of the practical activities of the city's women's association, local Party committees and authorities; demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, contributing to taking care of families in difficult circumstances to stabilize their lives and develop the economy .
