On the morning of October 11, the Standing Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee held the 26th Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference to review and give opinions on many important contents.

Attending the conference were Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung; Deputy Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thi Chien Hoa; Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Y Giang Gry Nie Knong; comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Provincial Party Executive Committee and representatives of relevant departments and branches in the province.

At the conference, delegates spent a lot of time reviewing and commenting on the draft Report on the situation and results of implementing socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security, Party building, and the political system in the first 9 months of 2024 and key tasks in the last 3 months of 2024. Accordingly, 2024 is an important year with many major events, especially the 120th anniversary of the founding of Dak Lak province. Therefore, from the beginning of the year, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee have focused on leading and directing all levels and sectors to effectively implement the set tasks and plans.

In the first 9 months of 2024, the province's socio -economic situation continued to develop, with most indicators showing good growth. Compared to the same period in 2023, the total product value in the area at current prices is estimated at more than VND 84,029.9 billion, up 12.25%; total social investment capital mobilization is estimated at VND 25,576 billion, up 3.55%; total retail sales of goods and service revenue is estimated at more than VND 81,005 billion, up 11.7%; total state budget revenue in the area is estimated at VND 6,208 billion, up 10.8%, equal to 73% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council; total export turnover is estimated at 1,440 million USD, up 29.2%; the whole province has 1,084 newly established enterprises, up 0.6%; Tourism activities grew quite well, total revenue from tourism is estimated at 970 billion VND, up 19.02%...

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha informed about the results of implementing tasks in the first 9 months of the year and the direction of tasks for the last 3 months of 2024.

Agricultural production continues to develop steadily, with good harvests and prices, contributing to improving sustainability and promoting agricultural development in the province. Winter-Spring crop production exceeded the plan by 20%. The new rural construction program has been focused on implementation. Up to now, the whole province has 79/151 communes meeting 19/19 new rural criteria, reaching 52.32%, 5 communes meeting advanced new rural standards and 01 district-level unit meeting new rural standards.

Cultural, sports, employment, social security and poverty reduction activities continue to be focused on, ensuring people's lives, notably the completion of 1,200 houses for households with housing difficulties in the province. Land, mineral and environmental resource management is focused on. Administrative reform has many positive changes. National defense is strengthened, sovereignty, territory and border security are maintained.

The work of Party building and political system building continues to be focused on, ensuring the requirements in the new situation; the whole province has admitted 1,879 new Party members, bringing the total number of Party members in the entire Provincial Party Committee to 88,904 comrades. The activities of the government, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have increasingly changed positively. The preparation work for Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party has been deployed promptly...

In addition to the achieved results, the implementation of tasks in the first 9 months of 2024 still encountered some difficulties such as: the total value of industrial products was lower than the growth scenario set by the province; the production of some key industrial products in the province decreased compared to the same period; production and business activities of enterprises still faced many difficulties, the number of dissolved and temporarily suspended enterprises was still high (accounting for 79% of newly established enterprises); land use fees were low, affecting the implementation of investment projects using the provincial budget; the security and order situation in some localities and fields was complicated at times; violations of the law, social order and safety, violations of forestry law and traffic safety still occurred frequently; the results of party member development in some localities were still low; grasping the thoughts and aspirations of the people was sometimes not timely and not thorough...
